About the Head of Internal Audit (Insurance) Role:
In this business critical position, your key responsibilities are to plan and execute audit plan, and communicate control assessments for the insurance businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage and complete audit assignments and perform control assessments of the business based on audit work performed and other information sources

Prepare regular audit status summary reports for the audit committee, as well as performance against plan and any remedial action requirements

Assist in development and assessment of audit universe and annual audit plan, perform internal audit work as appropriate in accordance with department standards

Develop a high performing audit team, review and approve team performance assessments and evaluate and identify team building and training

To succeed in this Head of Internal Audit (Insurance) role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with stakeholders of various levels, internally and externally, and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years in an audit, risk or compliance role within the insurance (life/general/takaful) industry

Outstanding interpersonal and management skills with an ability to deal with multiple stakeholders effectively

Fluent written and spoken English is required
