The Role:

The Charlotte Tilbury finance team are looking for an exceptional Senior Finance Manager to join them for a 12 - 14 month contract. The Senior Finance Manager role sits in the finance team reporting to Head of Finance EMEA. Predominantly responsible for the accuracy of EMEA financials and delivery month end, this role will also be working with other teams in the business to support the growth and delivery of EMEA market results. The role is responsible for the management and development of 3 Finance Analysts.


Role Accountabilities:

  • Lead weekly SISO meetings w/ commercial team to understand, challenge and identify monthly sales performance for EMEA regions
  • Lead month end performance review meetings w/ regional and global executive team members to present results with focus on deviations from forecast
  • Work cross functionally with various regional and global teams to identify, challenge and timely report R&O's
  • Support the Head of Finance in developing the finance function for EMEA; developing controls, processes & reporting
  • Manage components of month end and direct team in their deliverables
  • Work with the Payroll team to ensure accurate posting of Magic Field and Magic Office costs each month
  • Maintenance of fixed asset registers - creating assets, validating depreciation schedule, monthly postings
  • Balance sheet reconciliations & key account reviews
  • Support Head of Finance with requests for commentary and schedules
  • Support the business in investigating and analysing variances and providing explanations
  • Business Partner the cost centre owners, ensuring cost reports are accurate, timely, and
  • Work with the Financial Planning team to drive payback period and ROI analysis
  • Work with and support the Financial Planning team in improving reporting and forecasting cycles
  • Drive cost control best practices and ethos to the wider business
  • Frequently review key processes; recommend actions to improve and implement as appropriate
  • Seek systems and process automation efficiencies that provide cost effective solutions
  • Plan, prioritise and deliver work in a way that meets or exceeds business requirements
  • Netsuite key user - supporting finance function and commercial teams
  • Support Head of Finance with year-end preparation and during audit


You will be/have:

  • Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 1-2 years post qualification experience
  • Knowledge of UK accounting standards is essential
  • Management of month end processes experience essential
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Flexible & proactive, able to drive improvements through to completion
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven
  • Retail experience is highly desirable
  • Management experience is highly desirable
