You will be involved in:
- Establishing and maintaining the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and risk related policies in conjunction with the CRO.
- Working collaboratively across the organisation to coordinate and implement the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Ensuring the first line of the business identifies, understands and defines, mitigates and records risks through Risk Control Self-Assessment.
- Raise awareness for risk appetite, corporate governance and the corporate risk profile in the company.
- Production of detailed management reporting ensuring risk registers, dashboards, and other risk-related MI is current and aligned to the organisation's risk appetite.
- Maintaining and updating the Enterprise Management Risk policy to reflect any regulatory changes and the risk profile of the organisation.
- Undertaking other ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Risk Committee and any Internal Audit recommendations.
- Collating and reporting on Risk Events from across the organisation, on a monthly basis, for review, analysis and remediation.
- Assisting Management with the remediation of any key control deficiencies.
- Working with the CRO, Finance and the business in general, to support the ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP and Pillar 3 disclosure documents.
You will have:
- Track record of establishing and implementing Enterprise Risk / Operational Risk Management within other organisations.
- Good written/oral communication skills - in particular, an ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse audience.
- Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Possess knowledge of best practice techniques in the industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations.
- A background within a corporate governance function at a financial services organisation.
- Experience in drafting ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP documents, Pillar 3 disclosure and/or risk-related policies would be an advantage.
