Edenbrook are working on a great opportunity for an experienced IBA leader to join a Lloyd's broker as the Head of IBA. In the role you will manage the IBA ledger team and provide effective guidance and leadership.

As a team leader, you'll be the contact point for all team members and will act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.

What you will be doing in the role;

• Active credit control - Ensuring funds are collected from our brokers in a timely manner;
• Unallocated cash - ensuring cash is applied accurately and resolving queries where appropriate;
• Provide support for your team members as and when workloads dictate including cash allocation;
• Continued improvement in overall debt levels in like for like periods;
• Set regular team objectives to drive continual improvement in team results; department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities;
• Accomplish results by communicating job expectations; monitoring and appraising job results
• Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback

What you need;

• Excellent understanding of credit control procedures and IBA accounting within the Insurance industry;
• Prior experience working within a Lloyd's Broker
• Previous experience of supervising a team or operating within a senior IBA role;
• Experience in using a broking system - Global (Total Objects)
• A working knowledge of Xchanging Insurance portal (Desirable)
