We are looking for an experienced credit controller to manage Seiko's credit control function, ensuring good cashflow, reduced risk and optimal efficiency. The successful candidate will manage the Credit Control team in line with the Company's values, promoting team spirit, loyalty and trust. This is an office-based role in Maidenhead.


The main responsibilities will be to:



• Ensure all receivables are recovered within agreed payment terms


• Ensure adherence with the company's credit control policy


• Maintain customer accounts to show an accurate record of receivables and credit limits


• Take all reasonable steps to limit the extent of bad debts


• Build strong working relationships with both our customers and our sales force


• Ensure account queries are resolved quickly and effectively


• Full reconciliation of AR with GL on a monthly basis


• Drive process and efficiency improvements.


Essential characteristics


5+ years credit control experience

Very good IT skills and used to EDI invoicing

Motivated, highly organised and working at a fast pace with high volumes.

Good communication skills and team player.


Desirable


ICM qualified or part qualified with significant experience

Experience of working with retailers and dealing with large customer accounts with debit notes

Ideally SAP experienced.
