Outline

Reporting to our Finance Director, you will be responsible for the effective management and leadership of the Finance and Payroll departments. You will contribute to MacIntyre's strategic direction and financial controls and ensure delivery of high quality and timely management information.

You will build collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels around the organisation, embedding a good understanding of finance and payroll issues.

About you

In addition to a recognised CCAB accountancy qualification, you will have at least three years' senior leadership and management experience. You will have the confidence to inspire and develop individuals at all levels in the organisation, with a strong track record of leading engaged and effective staff teams.

You will be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex financial concepts in plain English to non-specialist audiences.

It would be helpful if you have some experience in the social care and/or voluntary sectors.
