Senior Finance Business Partner

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team based in Gloucester. This role would suit an individual who is passionate around the delivery of results and services, as well as being able to define complex information clearly and concisely.

Assisting the Finance Director with the development and management of a successful business, you will be running monthly reports and providing performance vs key metrics, coordinating and consolidating forecasts & budgets. You will be working with two Business Partners and Brand Leaders to challenge information and spot trends within data. This role will be based in Gloucester with an extended team in other locations, across the UK.

As the business goes through an exciting growth period, there will be many opportunities to get involved in other exciting projects.

Responsibilities:



• You will be interpreting, explaining, and driving performance within the business using business KPI's,

• You will develop reporting within SAS to create efficiencies around processes, creating clear visualisations for reporting to non-financial managers,

• You will be supported by two Data/ MI analyst who will assist with data mining and you will provide ad-hoc analysis & insights on specific issues,

• You will liaise and work with new acquisitions to obtain MI from their current systems to produce monthly reporting and verify accuracy of newly integrated month end numbers,

• You will lead the team on monthly reporting packs, budgeting & forecasting,

• You will oversee the data quality by working with the Data Analysts ensuring data accuracy,

• You will engage in other project work as and when required

Experience:


• You will be ACCA / CIMA qualified or equivalent - (part qualified and in final year will be considered)

• You will be at an advanced level in using MS Excel and comfortable creating pivot tables, macros, charts and graphs,

• You will be confident using visualisation tools such as Tableau, QlikView, SAS

• You will be passionate around delivery of results and service

• You will have previous experience working within insurance (desirable but not essential),

• You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to break down complex MI clearly and concisely
