The Opportunity:


Despite COVID this business has grown by almost half since last year and as a result of this are now able to offer an exceptional challenge to an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Purchase Ledger Clerk who really wants to be a part of something special.


With the added value of the highly experienced Financial Controller as a mentor this would be a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or apprentice to broaden and develop their skills in a friendly and supportive environment.


The Duties:


-Matching, batching and coding of high volumes of international invoices

-Statement reconciliation and suggesting invoices for payment

-Bank reconciliations

-Providing administrative support to Purchase and Sales Ledger functions and to the wider finance function


The Requirements:


As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will enjoy a high level of interaction with all functions of the business, therefore to be considered you will be a natural people person and a strong communicator.


An average day with this business tends to be busy and fast paced, however there is very much a 'work hard play hard' mentality with regular team socials, competition and events. Due to this the successful candidate will be a team player, who wants to work well with others and make a valid contribution to the overall success of the department.


To be considered, you will ideally have 12 months experience in Finance Administration role and good Microsoft Excel skills. More importantly however, you will have a keen attitude to learn as many new skills as possible and will be focused on your ongoing personal development.


Training for the position will be done via Microsoft Teams and the role will be working from home until January at least. Therefore the successful candidate will be a self starter, prior working from home experience would be advantageous.
