A London Market insurer is looking for a Tax Assistant to join their team. Using your knowledge you will help the business save money and support the company in new commercial ventures, all whilst ensuring our global tax obligations are met.

This role provides a great opportunity to understand how the business works from a legal, commercial and economic perspective, with a chance to contribute to the business strategic planning.

Key Areas of focus

• You will be responsible for a wide portfolio of tax compliance and advisory matters.
• You'll manage UK corporate tax process for subsidiaries (production of provisions and returns).
• Manage transfer pricing compliance for Group and subsidiaries.
• Get involved in indirect tax compliance and advisory work (principally VAT and IPT).
• Act as a business partner for the operating units of the Group.
• Contribute to Group strategic planning and tax risk management.

What you need;

• Ideally 2 yrs+ working in Tax, preferably with some experience of Insurance / Financial Services.
• Good communication skills and written style.
• Professional tax or accountancy qualification - part qualified
