Your day to day as an Assistant Financial Controller isn't too different from company to company.

You'll be joining a family ran business with beautiful products - bracelets, necklaces, handbags, purses, pouches, and baby and home goods. You'll possibly recognise their stuff if you've been to either John Lewis, or Debenhams.

You'd expect any founders of a company to be passionate about their company, but here, the rest of the staff share that enthusiasm too.

When you've had success after success, it's difficult to not be proud of the brand that you work for.

Their 'success list' includes growing to over 200 people from just 50 in three years, and expanding around the globe.

With aspirations to become one of the biggest brands in the UK, expect this list to keep on growing.

You'll need to either ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified for this one, and with a customer base in the US you'll also ideally have knowledge of US GAAP.

You'll produce monthly Management Accounts for multiple legal entities, including forecast and variance reporting, and oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

You'll have two direct reports, an Assistant Management Accountant and a Finance Operations Manager, so you'll need to have managed before - you'll be someone who takes pride in supporting their development.

You'll need to be open to working in a socially distance office, as this is a Monday - Friday 9-5 role.

You get a salary of up to £45,000, which you may end up spending a chunk on the companies' products thanks to their hefty staff discount.

You'll start with 20 days holiday, but with each year you'll get an extra day up until 25.
