Working exclusively on behalf of a progressive Investment Management organisation in the heart of London, I am looking to recruit a part-qualified, ambitious Finance Analyst. Reporting directly to the CFO & Head of Settlements, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an SME who have an international footprint, offering career development and working with industry experts.

We are looking for someone who is highly numerate, attention to detail orientated and has the ability to work to deadlines. You will be an ambitious self-starter who is eager to learn and has a strong work ethic. Operating with high integrity, you will have a strong bias for collaboration and team work and will be comfortable dealing with change. My client is looking for someone who is naturally curious, someone who is willing to speak up, share ideas and debate when necessary meaning you can make a real impact in helping this business grow.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain Purchase ledger (UK and US)

- Maintain Sales ledger (UK & US)

- Expense management

- Bank reconciliation

- VAT return preparation

- PIID Preparation

- Journaling

- Interaction with Sage

- Assist the CFO with Ad hoc projects / Financial analysis

- Cash flow management

- Budget preparation and variation reporting

- Assist the settlements team (to provide cover in holiday periods)

Experience and credentials

- Part qualified

- Good academic credentials

- Professional experience/office experience

- Detailed understanding of double entry bookkeeping, financial and management accounting

- Excel advanced user

- Word, PowerPoint user

- Financial services sector experience would be advantageous or a strong desire to work within this sector
