Our client is a premium consumer brands company and is in the process of relocating its finance operations from Ireland to London. It is an exciting time to join the company and you will have significant responsibility for building out the new finance operations. We are seeking an technically and opetaionally savvy Controller at HQ and key responsibilities will include:

• Managing statutory submissions and working to ensure that all submissions are on time, accurate and compliant;
• Reviewing and improving key compliance processes;
• Assisting in the transition of accounting systems from SUN to SAP;
• Improving the year-end close and quality of deliverables to external advisors;
• Production of year-end consolidated financial statements under IFRS;
• Production of 20 individual subsidiary/branch financial statements under local GAAP;
• Ownership of the Group's consolidation system
• Being the key point of contact for our external auditors;
• Advising on financial reporting issues and the implication on the Group's financial statements; and
• Improving the year-end close and quality of deliverables to external advisors

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified
• FRS 101/102 and IFRS;
• Working with multi-currency consolidations;
• Working through complex currency transactions & structures;
• Working through the accounting for acquisitions, disposals and Group restructuring
