Tradeweb is looking for a senior accountant to join the London- based finance team. Your experience to date will include good technical accounting knowledge, gained through practice or industry. You will be a self-starter with excellent analytical skills

Responsibilities:

Revenue accounting:

• Ensure accurate recognising of revenues including the preparation and review of deferred and accrued revenue postings
• Ensure all client contracts are correctly recorded and accounted for under US GAAP and local accounting standards
• Work with the business and operations teams to guarantee all billing/revenue changes have been reflected correctly
• Perform variance analysis monthly, quarterly and annually and be able to communicate variances to non accountants
• Support the business with adhoc requests regarding client fees

Management accounting:

• Producing financial management information in a timely manner as required by senior management.
• Preparation of international business cost budget and reforecasts
• Maintenance of monthly revenue/ cost centre postings
• Communicate and knowledge share key financial information with the Financial Controller, Finance Director and Senior Stakeholders

Financial accounting:

• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and substantiation
• Working with the financial accounting team on production of annual and quarterly financial statements prepared in accordance with FRS 101 and local reporting standards
• Management of internal audits and year end external audits
• Understand and implement strong financial controls in line with SOX 101

Required Qualifications:

• Post qualified accountant with 2-3 post qualified experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; extremely comfortable building Excel reports/ models. Knowledge of macros/SQL very favourable
• Experience using Oracle preferred
• Ability to analyse large data sets with understanding and communicating the key message
