The individual will have the responsibility of carrying out tasks for an instruction based in Derby. The role involves working within a Client focused team and will involve a high volume of calls daily and dealing with UAC queries to improve Collection KPI's.
The individual who carries out the role of Credit Controller will be strong and self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills. They will have the ability to work under pressure and a desire to continuously improve systems and processes.
Previous Credit Control experience (preferably Property) is required and the Individual should have the ability to work well as part of a team as well as unsupervised. The Credit Controller will be experienced in high level volumes of Transactions and Call KPIs and will have a good knowledge of spreadsheets; being a competent user of Microsoft Excel.
Liaising with a large number of both internal Clients and external tenants is a daily requirement so a high level of professionalism must be maintained at all times.
Although this role is primarily associated to an instruction of the Company's in Derby, the successful candidate may be expected to carry out individual and team tasks for other areas of departmental work as instructed by management.
Key Responsibilities
Reducing Client current outstanding debtors balanceIssue copy invoices and tax receiptsChasing payment using the telephone, email and mail (high volume)Dealing with and resolving Tenant queriesDealing with and resolving UAC queriesIssuing statements and reminder lettersAssisting in the reconciliation of problem accountsManagement of query resolution, chasing colleagues where requiredMonitor and report on aged debtors reports weekly or as requiredMiscellaneous reportingMaintain active communication both within the Central Finance team and other internal departmentsDealing with day to day instructionsAsk questions, interact, and discuss objectives and day to day work of your teamProvide assistance to team membersDevelop and maintain active communication both within your team and other teamsCarry out tasks that the Credit Control Team Leader may requestMicrosoft Office including Excel/Access
