The Role

Reporting to the Group Finance Director the role will be responsible for managing and developing an established finance function leading up to an IPO.

This role requires a qualified accountant with extensive experience of implementing financial controls and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical capability as well as FP&A and business partnering experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day aspects of the finance function including AR, AP and payroll implementing best practice processes
• Production of month end reporting, statutory reporting
• Production of budgets, forecasts and financial dashboards
• Cash and treasury management
• Tax planning including R&D tax credits
• Development of function governance, policies, procedures, the chart of accounts and the reporting calendar

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

• Degree qualified and a chartered accountant
• Experience of using Oracle
• Motivated individual that enjoys change management and working at pace in a rapidly growing business
• Previous experience in US GAAP and IFRS
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate financial information to a non-financial audience

• Experience in a SaaS environment
• System implementation experience
• Experience working in both public and private companies
