We have the exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join our team, The Financial Controller will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function, from financial systems, identifying areas of improvement and implementing necessary changes to support the financial growth of the Business.


Reporting directly into the Finance Director & other Directors your role will be key in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance & accounts department. This role will also form part of the Group Senior Management Team to support the wider business strategy and forward planning.


This will include (but not limited to):

  • Oversee all company accounts and investments.
  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
  • Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
  • Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
  • Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.
  • Provide 'Financial Strategy' planning.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
  • Collaboration with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
  • Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
  • Report to Finance Director with timely and accurate financial information.
  • Present reports to other senior management team members, Directors, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all fees from our Franchise network are paid and managing any outstanding debts.

Skills required


  • Must be a Qualified Certified Accountant with several years of experience in a business or finance environment.
  • At least three years of management and team leadership experience.
  • Outstanding mathematical skills.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Programs, such as Excel
  • Good practical understanding and experience of using Sage.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have high attention to detail and organisation.
  • A true problem solver and critical thinker.
  • Understanding of Data Privacy Standards.
  • A great analytical thinker.


This role is based at our Head Office in Tolworth, Surrey; based on a 40-hour working week. Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30.
