About the Role

We are looking for a driven IT Audit Manager with Technology risk experience across any of the three lines of defence to join the ClearBank Internal Audit team, supporting our assurance work relating to the risk and control environment. You will be working with cutting edge technology, utilising cloud platforms and shaping the audit agenda for a disruptive challenger bank that is transforming the UK's financial landscape.

About You

We are looking for passionate candidates that understand the importance of risk and control management and are able to work collaboratively to achieve the collective goal of ensuring the Bank manages its compliance position and risks in a dynamic and fast-paced Fintech environment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of understanding and assessing technology risk and controls from a design and operating effectiveness perspective, along with an awareness of IT general controls, payment systems, operational risk management principles and procedures and the broader financial services and payments landscape.

We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated and willing to learn and grow. Interpersonal skills, liaising with multiple stakeholders and collaboration will be key to success in this role.

Core Responsibilities

• Supporting delivery of annual audit plan
• Writing and execution of test plans, results and summaries for audit reports.
• Monitoring of BAU business activities through review of business updates, attendance at forums, monitoring incidents.
• Tracking progress of audit actions in flight through regular engagement with business stakeholders.

Core Skills and Experience

• Experience of working in Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit role within financial services/payments industry with a focus on Technology risk
• Payment systems and payment scheme control knowledge is desirable
• IT Security controls (Networking, infrastructure and applications)
• IT Resilience controls (Backups, Availability, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity)
• Understanding of cloud environments (i.e. Azure)
• Understanding of NIST, ISACA PCI DSS and other industry control frameworks
• A clear communicator who can summarise ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The ideal candidate will have solid IT and payment systems knowledge and experience, with the ability to prioritise workload and be delivery focused. As a member of the Internal Audit team the successful candidate will be joining a small cohesive function to provide independent views on controls and contribute to the wider Internal audit annual plan.
