UK Finance Manager | Culture Led F&B Business | London

The client

Harmonic are delighted to be supporting a fast-growth and culture-focused food and beverage SME on the hire of a UK Finance Manager who will be working closely with the GM in the UK. Founded in the UK just over 10 years ago, this business has doubled their growth each year and are a true multifaceted business.

Based in a quirky office in East London, the business has an incredibly fun culture and working environment. They are looking for someone with a great sense of humour with a passion for people and food!

Being the lead finance role within the UK team, it is likely that as the business continues to scale, this role with evolve into a Head of Finance role. This is a truly hands-on role within an incredibly fun and scaling business.

The role

This is an international business in which you will report directly into the UK GM, with a dotted line to the CFO based overseas. The role will be responsible for the entire UK finance function and will facilitate the growth across the UK/EU markets:

• Prepare the Month End reports and P&L reviews

• Monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations

• Lead the quarterly and annual statutory reporting and lead the audit

• Responsible for all budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning in the UK

• Cashflow management and analysis

• Business partnering and reporting on various revenue lines across the business

• KPI analysis

• VAT returns

• Oversight of the ledgers

• Support and coach the Finance Assistant

• Payroll

• Experience in an SME

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

• Desire to work in a culture focused business
