Castle Trust are looking to for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join the Regulatory Reporting team at Castle Trust Bank as they look to build out the reporting capabilities of the newly licenced bank.

You will be working across at our Basingstoke operations centre, which has great access to the M3 and to the mainline railway station, just 45 minutes from London and when required at London office located in the heart of the City of London


Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of regulatory reports. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and submission of all required regulatory reports covering a UK investment firm, bank and holding company including COREP, FINREP and Bank of England reporting.
  • Process development. Continuous improvement of existing processes looking to streamline processes, resolve outstanding issues and enhance accuracy of the reporting process.
  • Documentation of procedures. Preparation and maintenance of accurate and detailed desktop procedures.
  • Automation of reporting. Using the existing regulatory reporting system (WIRES) to deliver an automated solution. This will involve significant work to develop underlying data accuracy and delivery.
  • New reporting implementation. Participate in the research and implementation of new and revised regulatory reporting requirements, initially in relation to the implementation of CRR2 in June 2021. Alongside this there will be a need to evaluate regulatory requirements for new product offerings.
  • Develop regulatory knowledge. Develop a strong understanding of the regulations around the Castle Trust product set to establish the team as a centre of excellence within the business for all questions related to the regulations and reporting.
  • Ad hoc projects and reporting as and when required.


Key Skills/Experience

  • An understanding of regulated banking and capital markets in the UK for a mortgage lending business
  • Good experience of regulatory reporting and knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience of working with and manipulating large data sets
  • Qualified/part qualified accountant ideally but not essential
  • Self starter who is confident managing their own time
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Confident communicating with people at all levels of an organisation
