VAT Manager - Financial Consultancy - Hertfordshire - £50k-£55k + circa 10% bonus and benefits

Robert Walters are hiring for a VAT Manager for a financial consultancy business based in Hertfordshire. This is a permanent role on either a full-time or part-time basis with flexible hours and the ability to work from home.

The VAT Manager is responsible for dealing with international companies with multiple registrations in the EU; He or she will engage in VAT recovery work, identifying areas of VAT underclaim which the company can use to recoup money from the tax authorities, and the VAT Manager will also provide advice on VAT compliance and preparation of VAT returns, as well as giving ad-hoc commercial VAT advice.

On top of the technical work, the VAT Manager will manage/supervise more junior team members, provide regular reporting,will have interaction with clients and will act as the subject-matter expert internally for any VAT or indirect tax issues.

The role comes with a salary in the region of £50,000 to £55,000 plus circa 10% bonus and benefits package on top.
