Junior Finance Manager | High Growth Music Business | London


Harmonic are proud to be working exclusively with a high-growth music business based in a great co-working space in the music hub of London. The business are responsible for working with some of the biggest record labels and their global stars, managing their interactions with the Media.


They are known for their fun and dynamic working environment, where the team is very sociable.

A great opportunity has come up for a driven individual to be the sole person in finance. Although, you will be working closely with external accountants as well as a financial consultant who will able to support on financial matters.


The business has around 20 members of staff, and you'll be working closely with the Managing Director, providing exposure to senior management. This role provides a clear pathway of progression, to build and develop a finance team as the business continues to scale.


The Role


Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finances of the company, providing oversight of the bookkeeping for their international entities.


This is a broad role, which gives exposure to Management Accounting as well as some international experience. You also be working closely with Senior Management, contributing to the commercial strategy.


Duties:


  • Working with the Consultant on producing the Management Accounts Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Responsible for bank reconciliations
  • Credit control duties
  • VAT returns
  • Liaising with External Accountants on ad-hoc issues
  • Any other ad-hoc reporting matters


What we need to see (essential):


  • AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA Studier
  • Experience working in creative industries
  • Confident communicator
  • Passionate about music!


What we'd like to see (bonus):


  • Experience in the music, media, TV or Film industry




Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 (potential study support provided)
