An opportunity has arisen with this Norwich based Real Estate and Property business for a hands on Assistant Accountant to take on the finance responsibility for the business. The Assistant Accountant will play an essential role in the success of the business and will help drive forward their continued growth.

An established player in the Real Estate and Property sector who have a reach across the UK, who are now looking to expand within the market and are in need of a like minded Assistant Accountant to do so. Description

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

• Supporting with the monthly management accountant and month end duties
• Processing of the site payroll
• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of bank reconciliations and VAT returns
• Running monthly and yearly reports
• Providing key financial information to inform business decisions
• Supporting the Finance Manager with their analysis and reporting
• Mentor junior members of the finance team

Profile

The successful candidate for the Assistant Accountant will be:

• Ideally Level 4 AAT or actively studying towards the qualification
• Confident user of Excel
• Confident in deal with multiple stakeholders across the business
• Detailed orientated and hardworking
• Previous experience in a Real Estate and Property business would be advantageous
