An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading engineering firm based in brand new offices close to the centre of Wilmslow. This company have continued to trade well over the last 6 months are investing in growing the finance team to support continued expansion.

Description

The Accounts Payable Role is a temporary opportunity initially which could be extended.

You will have the opportunity to look after:

• Purchase ledger payment runs across various systems for multiple sites
• Ad-hoc daily payments (including foreign currencies)
• Resolving supplier queries alongside the purchase ledger teams
• Maintenance and up-keep of multiple purchase ledgers
• Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with internal Standard Practices
• Responding to emails sent to a shared mailbox
• Experience using banking platforms to upload payment files and batches
• Build and maintain proactive relationships with colleagues, suppliers and relevant internal departments

Profile

In order to apply for this role you should:

Have previous experience in a Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable Role

Have Experience using Sage 200 preferred but not essential

Be available to consider a temporary role initially
