We have seen dramatic growth in recent years and as we continue our growth journey. We are now looking to invest in our skills set even further!

Our values are our motivations:

Our values are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for people who also believe in these drivers as we work together to achieve success for both our colleagues and our clients alike. As a business we believe we are stronger together. We share knowledge, ask for help and empower each other to achieve more collectively. We are open minded and value everyone's contribution, embracing our differences and fostering a culture of trust and inclusion. We look for people who adapt quickly to change, finding smart ways to deliver the best results and remain one step ahead. Does that sound like you?

Requirements

To get the job that you'll love

For us, the personal attributes of each of our employees are what makes us authentic in the marketplace. We look for people who can collaborate with peers but can also bring their own voice to the table. We want people who are dynamic in their approach and respectful of other people's opinions. We are looking for someone who want to be more than just a team member, but who wants to join a family of likeminded individuals.

As an Assistant Manager in our Audit department, you will manage a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors and sizes based predominantly throughout the Midlands region. You will play a pivotal role in planning and close out meetings whilst managing your audit teams throughout the audit cycle. It is imperative that you have good technical understanding of UK ISA's and FRS 102 to assist you with both audit and accounts reviews. In addition, you will also manage staff resourcing across audits throughout the year and will liaise closely with Partners and fellow managers in overseeing the general running of the department. You will have strong experience of working within practice and have exposure to the essential elements of client service and delivery. Ideally you will be working within a Managerial capacity already or aspiring to as part of your journey.

In order to enhance your own personal development, you will have the opportunity to lead, manage, motivate and coach other members of the team so supervisory experience would be a distinct advantage. You will be working with a great team of like-minded colleagues all focused on supporting each other to perform at their best.

In terms of qualifications, we want to ensure we are offering the best service to our customers so an accountancy qualification such as ACA or ACCA are essential for this role. We will provide you with ongoing mentoring and coaching as you continue to develop personally. The successful appointment will have a collaborative outlook with a dynamic approach to management.

A note from the Hiring Manager;

"The business is going through a great period of growth and exciting change, we are now looking to expand the team with an Assistant Manager for our audit team. This is a mixed role covering audit and accounts preparation for a diverse range of clients"
