We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a fast growing and award winning business based on the outskirts of Ipswich. This is a permanent role with great prospects for the future!
This role is a hands-on Financial Controller position which will play a key part within the business, and will directly report to the CEO. You will work in a commercial capacity across the business and gain great exposure to the board/directors in a business partnering approach.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Financial and Management accounting matters
- Preparation of an annual budgets and cashflow forecasts, and monitoring these on a monthly basis
- Financial planning and budgeting
- Preparation of analytics on incomes
- Fulfil the requirements of accredited standards, internal and external
- Support the business through key decisions, by providing sound financial advice and guidance
- Explore and implement further ways to improve the systems, processes and controls including contribution to the building and implementation of an ERP system
- Handling the coordination and control of accounts team
Skills:
- Qualified accountant i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, with relevant post-qualification experience
- Highly organised, capable of managing own workload to tight deadlines
- Good financial, analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent Excel and systems skills, and experience of implementing an ERP system would be desirable
