AJ Chambers Recruitment is very happy to be working with a highly regarded, Stevenage based Client on their requirement for Semi - Senior Accountant. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Semi Senior

responsibilities:


* Accounts preparation

* Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

* Preparing statutory accounts for partner review for sole traders, limited companies and corporate entities

* Training and mentoring junior members of the team

* Liaising directly with clients

* Various bookkeeping duties

What will you need to be successful in this role?

* A minimum of 2 years' recent Practice experience (preferably in a busy, fast-paced Accounting environment)

* Actively studying towards your ACCA / ACA Qualification

* Good IT skills (to include Intermediate MS Excel - Vlookups & Pivot Tables)

* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

* Highly organised

* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

* Commutable distance to Stevenage
