A leading UK Pensions Consultancy, who are growing at a rapid rate, have an opening for an experienced Pensions professional to join their Projects team to undertake detailed analysis for a number of ongoing projects.

To succeed in this role, you will be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, have significant DB pensions administration experience and ideally have experience working in a project driven environment.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Heavy use of Excel to manipulate data for analysis.
• Check manual and Excel calculations of pension benefit.
• Analyse pension benefit data to discover under/overpayment values and confidently advise clients of such findings.
• Thoroughly monitor project progress and budget to ensure deadlines are met and costings are not exceeded.
• Communicating via email/letter/telephone with key internal stakeholders and third parties.
• Running database updates and maintenance.
• Checking and authorising the work of less experienced members of the team.
• Supporting the team manager with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
