Together, we can grow and shape the future of a successful business in an expanding sector.The RoleWorking within the Financial Accounts team you will be responsible for the recording and analysis of the {my}dentist Capital Expenditure including maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register, calculation of depreciation in line with the company's Fixed Assets guidelines and reporting of expenditure to key budget holders.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment and have to be able to prioritise time and work to tight deadlines on a month to month basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Control of Capital Expenditure requests ensuring in line with company guidelines and accounting principals
• Analysis of expenditure ensuring correct allocation of spend between P&L and Balance sheet
• Accurate maintenance of Fixed Asset register
• Providing tax analysis of Capital expenditure ensuring the correct Corporation Tax treatment
• Calculating monthly depreciation costs to practice and allocate to P&L
• Produce assistance with Stock accounting I would be great at that! What skills do I need?
• Ideally a minimum of 1 year working within a Finance role
• Previous experience of Asset Management (ideally)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel at a minimum of intermediate level
• Ability to work to, and meet, key deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Quick learner
• Independent and uses own initiative
• Motivation for continual improvement and development
• Confident communicator both verbal and writtenFollowing induction, we are able to support a working from home and office based rota. All induction and training for this role will be completed under social distancing guidelines, and via Video technology where we can.
