My client is looking for a specialist corporate credit risk analyst with experience in commodity finance. Ideally, you will have experience of dealing in emerging markets. This would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.

In this role, you will be expected to build strong working relationships with other departments across the bank and will require excellent oral and written communication skills, representing credit control to both internal and external stakeholders.

The role will also require responsibility for the review of credit policies, procedures, operational controls and compliance and there is likely to be a small element of overseas travel, once travel restrictions are lifted.

The ideal candidate will have superior credit application and analytical skills with an in-depth understanding of commodity finance products and all related risks.

Any xxposure to Emerging Markets in Africa and Middle East would be an added advantage. You need to have significant, demonstrable and relevant experience in a similar role, with experience in structuring and mitigated risk in complex transactions. Previous lending authority would be an advantage.

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships are a pre-requisite and a Financial Degree, ACIB or equivalent preferred.
