REED Accountancy are pleased to be partnering with a returning client to recruit a permanent, full time bookkeeper. This accountancy firm offers a friendly and professional working environment together with a supportive culture.

This role would be best suited to someone who is either Qualified by Experience of seeking an Accountancy qualification. It is however crucial that you have experience within an Accountancy Practice due to the nature of the workload.

Duties for this role will include:

• Accounts preparation to trial balance, for monthly, quarterly and year end accounts
• Preparation and input of period end accruals, prepayments and other journals
• Preparation and filing of VAT returns for clients under MTD
• Bookkeeping including reconciliations and control account

Working within a practice environment this role will involve working closely with your clients and ensuring that their deadlines are met in a timely manner using multiple software such as SAGE, Iris and Kashflow.

In the current circumstances you will initially be working from home with occasional trips to the office.

Salary up to £28k plus associated benefits and local free parking.
