Our client, a global consulting firm is seeking to recruit a Modelling & Valuations Associate to work in their expanding Project Finance, Financial Modelling and Valuations team based in London.
Overview:
Providing project and infrastructure financial advisory, financial modelling, financial model review and valuation services to the firm's clients and to other service lines.
To be responsible for detailed execution of financial modelling, model review and valuation
engagements for a wide variety of clients across the corporate and non-profit sectors, from listed multi-nationals and central government departments, through financial institutions and funds, to OMBs and charities.
Responsibilities will include:
Development of complex financial and business models (cashflow forecasts, strategic planning tools, business plans,
valuation tools)
Auditing and review of financial models
Modelling for fund raising transactions (project finance, leveraged finance, IPOs, private equity)
Advice, structuring, fundraising, modelling and analysis in support of a variety of PPP and infrastructure projects and joint ventures
Preparation / analysis for Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) reports, business valuations and the valuation of share options,
and foreign exchange and hedging instruments
Experience:
Fully qualified ACA (or equivalent). Ideally with exposure to corporate finance modelling work. Candidates with specific
project finance or financial modelling experience preferred. A professional services background or a banking/consultancy
background would be preferred.
Good IT literacy required, particularly Excel; exposure to specialised spreadsheet review or analysis tools an advantage
Will also consider trainees from commercial or banking background
