Our client, Bregal Investments, part of a global family of private equity and fund investment vehicles spanning Europe, the Americas and Asia, seeks a Principal - Milestone Performance Partners. Key duties: 1. Provide advisory support and assistance, both strategic and operational, to senior management teams in Bregal's portfolio companies, encompassing organisational effectiveness (senior hiring, talent management, organisational design), business strategy development and business planning, sales team effectiveness, and marketing effectiveness. 2. Manage the execution of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reviews by third parties on Milestone portfolio companies and contribute to the ESG credentials and activities of Milestone. 3. Work with the investment team to assess investment opportunities pre and during due diligence, with a focus on the target's operational capabilities and scaling requirements. 4. Contribute to building a set of diagnostic and remedial tools and frameworks for use by Milestone Performance Partners to enhance the value of Milestone portfolio companies. 5. Contribute to building the capabilities and resources and scaling of Milestone Performance Partners. 6. Contribute to the business development and marketing activities to promote Bregal Milestone and Milestone Performance Partners. Essential skills, qualifications and experience: 1. Relevant degree qualification (finance/economics). 2. Extensive strategic advisory experience, including business strategy development and business planning experience. 3. Extensive business operational experience, including organisational design and effectiveness, senior staff hiring, and talent management. 4. Extensive line management business development experience, including sales team and marketing effectiveness. 5. Strong industry knowledge and experience working within small technology companies. 6. Strong track record of working with C-level executives to execute on key revenue growth initiatives. 7. Strong finance background with demonstrable commercial and financial acumen. 8. Strong track record of identifying and driving efficiencies and performance management. 9. Broad international and multicultural experience. 10. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 11. Strong presentation skills, exuding the confidence and ability to converse with, and present to, senior level executives. Job type: Permanent, full-time.
