Responsibilities:
Assist in the evaluation of new business or merger & acquisition opportunities, either related or unrelated to group business portfolio. Synchronise with other business units/subsidiaries on the financial inputs and valuation assumptions in preparation of financial models. Conduct fund raising exercises for the company includes the propose structure and implementations. Involved in carrying out due diligence processes and post-acquisition integration activities, engage continuously in research and compliance with required legal documentation in connection with new investments, etc. Keep abreast with latest regional developments and opportunities for investment diversification through existing relationships with external parties. Liaise and control with investment banks/commercial banks/financial institutions with regards to the implementation and execution of the said exercises. Part of the team in developing and maintaining a company investor relations plan.
Requirements:
Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or its equivalent. Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience. Preferably Manager or Senior Manager specialized in Finance Corporate Finance/Investment/Merchant Banking or its equivalent. Possess prerequisite skills in investment analysis, investment proposal and mergers and acquisitions. Resourceful, analytical, possess strong communication, presentation and effective writing skills in both English and Mandarin. Good business acumen and financial modelling skill. May be required to travel occasionally.
