Description

  • Report to Head, Operations Audit Department.
  • Plan and execute audit engagements (i.e. reviews of internal controls, risk management and products) using risk-based audit methodology.
  • Evaluate business risks, the design and operating effectiveness of internal control systems as well as adherence to regulatory requirements, established policies and procedures.
  • Propose recommendations to address control weaknesses and process inefficiencies. Conduct closing meetings with audit clients to provide clear explanation on issues identified.
  • Prepare audit reports, communicate audit results and findings to management.
  • Track the implementation of remedial actions and closure of audit findings.
  • Assist in investigation on areas of the assigned auditable portfolios.
  • Participate in projects and provide advisory services to Business and Support Function Units with regards to regulatory compliance and risk management



    • Qualifications

  • A degree holder in Banking, Finance, Accounting or other similar related qualifications.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in external audit or 5 years of experience in banking operations, particularly in branch operations, payment operations, cheque clearing, operational risk management and other related areas.
  • Good command of English (speaking and writing).
  • Possess strong analytical thinking and ability to perform risk assessment on banking operations processes.
  • Have good interpersonal skill to handle internal staff.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge in PayNet, Business Continuity Management, Basel II and AML/ CFT framework would be an added advantage.
