Robert Half are currently recruiting for a leading data and I.T Services company who are responsible for establishing and managing the infrastructure necessary to support the main roll out of millions of smart electricity and gas meters to homes and small non-domestic properties across Great Britain. The organisation is a wholly owned subsidiary of a FTSE 250 international business process outsourcing and professional services company.

Due to continuous growth, they are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Finance Manager/Economist. As a Regulatory Finance Manager, you will be responsible for elements of the financial data included in the annual price control submission to the regulator. This involves processing, querying, mapping, and analysing data throughout the year. You will be responsible for finance stakeholder engagement, with a clear focus on improving customer satisfaction. This should primarily be delivered through content management for quarterly customer briefings, as well as leading on direct engagement with customers and other stakeholders such as Ofgem. As part of your role, you will be responsible for the review and/or development of charges for core services, through the annual charging methodology review. You will also be responsible for the management and reporting of other costs to senior management such as prudent estimate, margin, pass-through costs. Lastly, you will have line management and development responsibility for a Pricing Analyst, including objective setting and performance reviews.

Salary & Requirements: £70k plus further benefits including a yearly bonus. All candidates must have prior experience in working with or for a regulatory body. (Telco, Utilities, Gas and energy etc). Applicants must be educated to degree level and have experience with Financial Price Control. There is a strong preference for a Regulatory Economist. Previous Line Management experience is also essential.
