The Firm
My client is an independent financial services firm specialising in Corporate Finance, Analytics and Investment Management with a specialism in the Real Estate, Energy & Utilities and Transportation sector.
The Role
They are ideally looking to hire an Analyst with a 2-3 years of corporate finance experience who will be working on a variety of projects within the Advisory, Structuring and Projects Team.
- Helping build and maintain strong relationships with clients, with you as a trusted member of the advisory team.
- Giving essential input and support to Client reports and presentations, including attending meetings.
- You will provide detailed and robust quantitative advice, based on financial models which are appropriate to the advice in question.
- You will be working across a range of activities from corporate finance advice in a broad sense to the provision of detailed advice on valuations and transactions.
- You will be developing relationships with key individuals we engage with on behalf of clients, in order best to advise clients on their commercial approach.
Education / Experience
- Graduate (2:1 minimum);
- Strong quantitative skills;
- Strong product experience (2-3 years with loans, derivatives or bonds) or a background in investment banking or debt advisory
- Good interpersonal skills and recognition of their importance in delivering quality client service;
- Ability to think creatively;
- Personal integrity;
- Ability to assimilate complex information and identify key decision points;
- Ambitious and looking for significant career development.
- Organised self-starter.
- Enjoys being part of a team but accepts individual responsibility;
- Attention to detail.
