An exciting and varied employment opportunity has arisen with an employer in Inverness for an experienced Accounts & Audit Assistant who has experience in a firm of accountants, not a commercial environment.
You will be experienced in the preparation of accounts, ideally, but not essentially to P & L and balance sheet level. You will also assist with client bookkeeping and you should have gained some experience in audit in a professional practice.
You will handle your own portfolio of clients ranging from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies, including incomplete records work. You will also carry out audits on a range of companies.
You must be a good communicator and be used to working to tight deadlines.
