I am currently supporting a high growth Private-Equity backed Pharmaceuticals company who have fared excellently throughout C19. My client is looking for a highly technical Interim Financial Accountant to support the Financial Controllership team. As part of the Financial Controllership team supports the recording and reporting of financial information in compliance with IFRS standards, specific tax accounting rules, management reporting (month end). This role is giving you an excellent opportunity in time, to become permanent.

The Role

• Reporting directly into the Head of Controllership and working alongside the FC to achieve any initiatives/ projects audits, contract reviews, VAT and queries from business etc

• Work closely with Financial Control team in ensuring the Indirect Tax Compliance process is robust and controlled

• Ensuring full compliance with requirements under IFRS

• Ownership of month end and managing any queries

• Work closely and involved in the preparation and/or review of VAT returns/intrastat/SII reports/audits

• Manage any queries prior to submission to Authorities as the client has over 50 VAT registrations

• Updating systems and processes, specifically Dynamics 365

• Operational transaction processes required

• Assisting senior management with any special projects

• Any ad hoc reconciliations

The Requirements

• Accountancy Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

• Detailed understanding of IFRS

• Working experience with D365 is highly advantageous

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel

• Understanding and having worked in a company that has trading activities/understanding of supply chain

• Someone who is a self-starter and can work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment

• Prior experience working for a Pharmaceutical company is desirable
