We have a brand new opportunity to join our Finance team as a Credit Risk Analyst. This role will support the Credit Risk Manager in the management and analysis of The Nottingham's mortgage portfolio with respect to customer and portfolio analytics, covering model developments, credit risk policy analysis and detailed portfolio- and customer-level analysis.

This role suits applicants with a background in data/model development; the successful candidate will have worked within a similar role with exposure and an appreciation for keeping abreast of regulatory changes with the confidence to assess and recommend whether any model development or process changes are required.

The role -


• Responsible for running credit risk models (including IFRS 9, PD, LGD and simulation models) on a monthly basis and ad-hoc as required and present model outputs to Credit Committee with oversight from the Credit Risk Manager


• Run in-depth data analysis by reconciling results against known metrics in Credit Risk Management Information and in the Risk data mart


• To manage and develop models in the Model Inventory in line with the principles of the Model Risk Governance Policy, including monitoring, reviewing risk triggers and ensuring reviews are carried out on schedule


• To identify and interpret new credit risk regulations and assess whether any model development or process changes are required


• Assist the Credit Risk Manager with any second line risk, internal audit or external audit reviews of model developments or governance


• Support the Credit Risk Manager with inputs into the credit risk sections of the Society's ICAAP on an annual basis
