Accounts Receivable Team Leader (Reporting to Ledger Manager) SummaryShark Ninja is the maker of class-leading Shark® vacuums and the innovative line of Ninja® kitchen appliances. As the business rapidly expands, we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join our busy team to help continue to deliver our five-star services to consumers.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced credit control/accounts receivable professional looking for a new and exciting challenge, by joining a rapidly expanding global brand. You will have ideally worked in a similar role and have some hands-on supervisory experience. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Roles and Areas of Responsibility
• Leading a team of 3 by allocating and monitoring workload, supporting the team, and providing training.
• Setting individual, and team objectives that align with the Finance department's goals and Company values.
• Conduct regular 1-to-1's with the team.
• Responsible for the day to day running of the accounts receivable department in an effective and efficient manner.
• Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
• Process and allocated monies received.
• Ensure regular statements are sent to customers.
• Ensure audit controls are in place across the team, and processes are regularly reviewed for compliance.
• Maintain a clean ledger and conduct regular housekeeping.
• Provide weekly and monthly MI reports and dashboards.
• Provide a month end ledger report with commentary to the Ledger Manager. Attributes and Skills
• Confident communicator both written and verbally, with the ability to present KPI's and other information.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Resourceful, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
• Methodical and diligent with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
• A can-do attitude, with a strong team working ethic.
• Ability to solve problems and resolve complex queries.Essential Skills
• Minimum of 3 years working in a Credit Control/Accounts Receivable environment.
• Be working towards, or already achieved, AAT Level 2 or equivalent.
• Intermediate Excel skills.Desirable Skills
• Experience using Sage 200 and Oracle Cloud.
• Experience as an Accounts Receivable/Credit Control Supervisor or similar role.Location
