In view of heightened expectations from regulators and to ensure a strong and consistent global control environment, Securities Services (SS) is enhancing its Governance and Controls Office (GCO). This new role will be part of the Equities and SS GCO team reporting to the Equities and SS GCO Co-Heads. The role will focus in the process improvement and leverage of technology to enhance the governance and controls framework for SS, in line with global enhancement initiatives across Markets and Securities Services (MSS). This role plays a leading contribution to the strategic direction and articulation of the internal control framework of the SS First line of defense (LOD).The selected candidate is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional process improvement and strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to process improvement of the governance and controls framework of the business.Key

Responsibilities:
