We have seen dramatic growth in recent years and as we continue our growth journey. We are now looking to invest in our skills set even further!

Our values are our motivations:

Our values are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for people who also believe in these drivers as we work together to achieve success for both our colleagues and our clients alike. As a business we believe we are stronger together. We share knowledge, ask for help and empower each other to achieve more collectively. We are open minded and value everyone's contribution, embracing our differences and fostering a culture of trust and inclusion. We look for people who adapt quickly to change, finding smart ways to deliver the best results and remain one step ahead. Does that sound like you?

To get the job that you'll love

For us, the personal attributes of each of our employees are what makes us authentic in the marketplace. We look for people who can collaborate with peers but can also bring their own voice to the table. We want people who are dynamic in their approach and respectful of other people's opinions. We are looking for someone who want to be more than just a team member, but who wants to join a family of likeminded individuals.

As a Manager or Senior Manager within our Audit team, you will be managing a portfolio of audit clients within the Public Sector. You will oversee teams, be a key point of contact for our clients, review audit work papers and ensure that audit files are completed in a timely manner. You will work as part of our wider Public Sector service line, exchanging ideas about best practice and discussing pitching for new work with other members of the management team. You will be responsible for managing a significant portfolio of clients and will always strive to build and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues and clients. Furthermore, you will be reviewing the work of others and determining that all audit reports reflect the work performed and meet set reporting and auditing standards.

For this position, an understanding of risk-based audit techniques is essential and an appreciation of corporate governance and performance arrangements as they relate to the public sector would also be beneficial. In addition, previous supervisory experience and a proven track record of motivating staff is necessary.

In terms of qualifications, we want to ensure we are offering the best service to our clients so an accountancy qualification such as ICAS, ICAEW or ACCA is essential for this role. Overall, you will understand that excellent customer service is paramount to client engagement and will maintain a commercial mindset throughout.

A note from the Hiring Manager;

"We have been providing high quality, value adding public sector audit services for over twenty years and we are now one of the leading audit providers to the Scottish public sector. We have a team which is led by partners and managers who are recognised specialists in their fields.

Our ethos is about working in partnership with our public sector clients. We act as a critical friend, challenging and supporting an organisation's management team, bringing new perspectives and practical solutions to business problems. Where we identify opportunities for improvement, we work closely with the organisation to develop practical, deliverable action plans that are owned by, not imposed on the organisation."
