We're currently seeking a FP&A / Operations Finance Manager to join our team. As a stand out candidate, you will possess in-depth experience in finance and/or accounting combined with excellent technical skills, are naturally curios, and are able to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment. You will partner closely with the Controller and CFO of Lineage UK. As the FP&A / Operations Finance Manager, you will need to be highly effective working with cross-functional teams and creating meaningful working relationships with operating and functional leaders, both domestic and abroad.

Responsibilities of the FP&A/Operations Finance Manager:


  • Develop strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect with operating leaders, providing a robust link between the operations and finance
  • Drive financial results via data analysis, including key trends, variance analysis and development of financial models for decision support
  • Lead monthly UK reporting and forecast processes including variance analysis and explanations including concise snap-shot reporting comparing actual financial performance against budget, forecast, quicks, and business and customer expectations
  • Lead annual multi-year strategic plan and business plan (budget) processes, including year-over-year analysis of site, business unit, and consolidated P&Ls
  • Produce accurate financial information including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and other key financial analysis and reports
  • Improve processes and productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools
  • Support M&A activity, debt and equity raises, and investors relations
  • Market research, data mining and business intelligence ad-hoc projects
  • Support mergers and acquisitions analysis and integration as necessary
  • Prepare capital or revenue investment applications promptly, in line with company policy and procedure, detailing all relevant and pertinent information is included to assist decision making
  • Drive overall business analysis, understanding and actions using key performance indicators, including non-financial metrics
  • Provide financial, KPI, and statistical information to management, customers, and other third parties


Required Qualifications of the FP&A/Operations Finance Manager:

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's if no related bachelor's)
  • 7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including 3+ years of public company experience
  • Experience using financial systems (i.e. Oracle HFM, SAP, Adaptive Insights, etc.)
  • Experience with detailed financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Expert with Microsoft Excel and proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Working Knowledge of current accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP) and basic financial legislative requirements affecting financial reporting
  • Strong analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative), including the ability to solve practical problems and analyze processes for improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information crisply and succinctly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and presence to quickly gain respect and build strong working relationships across the organization at all levels, including C-Suite/Executive
  • Comfort working in a hands-on, highly engaged environment and willingness to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility along with a strong work ethic and bias for action
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without specific authority (cross-functional, matrixed teams)

Preferred Qualifications of the FP&A/Operations Finance Manager:

  • Familiarity with data query/data management tools (Access, SQL, Business Objects), Workday and Adaptive Insights experience
