The role is Part time working around school hours or we would consider full time.
Accounts Position
We are currently looking for a bookkeeper / accounts person to carry out the accounts function of our business. It will involve all aspects of the accounts function and include payroll.
The applicant must have an excellent working knowledge of Sage and able to carry out invoicing, credit control, VAT, Payroll, produce accounts ready for filling and be able to take responsibility for accounting function of the company.
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
We are a small family company who specialise in providing automation solutions and require a friendly individual to join our team

• Create internal controls and corrective actions to reduce risk or deficiencies.

• Preparation of management accounts for Managing Director & analysis of anomalies

• Responsible for all accounting, payroll and financial reporting activities.

• Cary out all aspects of purchase ledger & credit control

• Prepare statutory accounts & submitting to relevant bodies on a timely basis

• Generate & submitted VAT Returns

• Collate & finalised expense & benefit information for P11ds

• Perform Control Account & bank reconciliation's

• Prepare & processed accruals/prepayments/bad debts & fixed assets register

• Direct a team of 4 employees, assisting with hiring, training and professional growth of employees

• Conduct disciplinary, grievance and absence management, maintaining positive relationships with employees throughout.

• Handle all payroll processing and changes for 11 employees incl submitting all relevant information to HMRC on a timely basis using Q Tac

• Liaise with external auditor

• Administrate the pension schemes incl Auto Enrolment

• Contribute to improvements in procedures and operations, resulting in expense reduction

• Check and collate expenses of the md and 2 sales force
