The job role
As the Group Accountant, you will be reporting to Group Senior Finance Manager. The primary role will be management and production of accounts for some of their busy divisions. You will manage accounting activities,management of monthly accounts consolidation process and production of statutory accounts, preparation of the monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal and external reporting, the treasury functions, corporate reporting and financial planning and analysis. She will be responsible for managing company's full set of accounts and prepare and produce financial reporting for the management.
Candidate profile
•Malaysian,preferably female in age group 28-38.
•Professional qualification ACCA or CIMA (or bachelor degree in Accountancy).
•Achieved strong SPM results (with at least distinctions in Accounting,Mathematics and English).
•Preferably Member of MIA.
•Ideally we are looking for candidates who have prior audit experience in Big Four professional auditing environment.
•Candidate for this role should be technical competent and up to date with all relevant technical accounting pronouncement and standards.
•To be considered for this role, we are looking for Accountant with good spoken and written command of English and conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.
•We are particularly looking for candidates with pleasant personality, positive work attitudes and who can take on challenging works. The successful applicants will need to have strong technical accounting skills, be prepared to be hands on and deal with details.
