Financial Controller (interim)

Your new company
This established organisation are looking for an interim Financial Controller to join them on an ongoing basis, reporting to the Finance Director and leading a small team. This broad job role is with an interesting business who continue to go from strength to strength within their market.

Your new role
As the successful applicant to this job, you will be responsible for the management accounting function, providing up to date financial analysis and reporting whilst managing and influencing the team. You will oversee the month and year end processes and will liaise with stakeholders and external auditors to ensure the accounts are prepared in-line with financial accounting standards. You will manage the payroll function and produce monthly management information, variance analysis and will drive efficiencies across the department.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified candidate (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) with extensive working experience in a leadership role. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to influence your team and to ensure accounting standards are adhered to.

What you'll get in return
This role is starting ASAP following interview stage and offers a competitive day rate of £150 - £230 per day, with the potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidate.
