Job Details
As a result of the continued growth in customers, a new role has been created within the high performing Finance department. The Senior Financial Control Manager will be responsible for the management and development of the financial control environment for the charging and collection of fees for retail customers. The role will report directly to the Finance Director and be responsible for leading a team of five.

You will be joining a well established firm, based in Greater Manchester who are looking at building a new financial controls department due to consistent growth.
Description
The Senior Financial Controls Manager's main responsibilities will be;
- Being responsible for the ongoing design, implementation and monitoring of the preventative and detective controls for charging fees.
- Chairing monthly meetings with business to discuss current issues/plans,
- Preparing plans/calendars and action trackers
- Preparing formal reports
- Implementing policies and procedures
- Identification of any problematic charging processes
- Recommending potential solutions to simplify charging mechanism
- Working with business to ensure any proposed changes to the charging structure can be implemented correctly
- Testing of new fee scripts with business

Profile
The successful Senior Financial Controls Manager should be;
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified,
- Have experience within a big-4 firm or similar Industry business,
- Experience dealing with Financial Controls,
- Knowledge of Financial Services
