Job Description

and Responsibility
  • To provide business analysis service on system capabilities as well as feasibility of enhancement or new features inclusions in the existing automation application.
  • Able to articulate and document in system architectural and design building blocks diagram of where new functionality resides and how it integrates with others.
  • Able to identify and communicate strengths and weaknesses of proposed solution in supporting the business/manufacturing requirement and to obtain user's buy-off prior to start of development work.
  • In regard of an enhancement or providing a new solution, to work with development/solution team on feeding the requirement, validating the design, writing the test case/scenario, perform functional/integration testing, and to work with users on testing in pre- and post-implementation of the enhancement or the new solution.
  • To prepare and present in CAB on any application change to be implemented in the production environment.
  • Responsible to get the phase approvals prior to entering the next stage of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process.
  • Responsible to implement change and to perform check out, pilot and deployment activities.
  • To provide documentation to Tier 1 Support Team for effective incidence/service request resolution on enhancement or new solution, as well as some existing functionality where needed.
  • To provide application Tier 2 support on escalation basis for incidence ticket in regard of system not functioning or unable to perform the designated job, or for service request ticket in regard of system configuration that enables or disables specific automation capability in the application.
  • To provide containment that includes query and screening of affected materials that are in potential quality risk following any major automation service interruption/outage/malfunction and to work with users to disposition the impacted lot where IT support is needed.
  • To provide root cause analysis on major service outage incidence, to recommend and execute corrective actions and to verify the effectiveness of solution implemented, followed by further kaizen/improvement plan if necessary.
  • To potentially train for additional role as Scrum master / Product Owner with SAFe Agile implementation .

  • Requirement :

    • Bachelor degree in computer science or information technology.
    • Bash scripting/command scripting added advantage
    • ~ 2 years experience as Business Analyst for Test Automation/semicon is a plus.
