Assistant Accountant, Glasgow
Up to £32,000
As the Assistant Accountant, you will play a critical role in a small finance team. Reporting into the Finance Manager you'll deliver accurate & reliable Management accounts. You'll also ensure ensuring all accounting and reporting requirements are delivered to a high standard.
Additional Duties:
* Processing and validating revenue data on a daily basis
* Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments and other monthly journals
* Preparing monthly management accounts, including commentary on variances
* Working closely with clients throughout the month to ensure any issues are resolved and required information is received
* Dealing with ad hoc queries from clients including all transactional finance responsibilities
This Accounts Assistant post is a critical role within the company and as such the successful candidate will be part-qualified, or in the process of studying for their professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA or ICAS). Candidates with relevant Accounting HNDs or Degrees will also be considered.
