Finance Manager

This is a key function of support to a sales orientated business with the ultimate responsibility for the daily running of the accounts function, and the preparation and timely delivery of management accounts along with associated reporting. This role would suit someone who is self-motivated, can take the initiative, is precise, confident, flexible and is able to work to deadlines. It's a lively, open plan, diverse environment and we enjoy the fact that no two days are the same.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks
• Management accounts and reporting
• Credit control, purchase ledger and bank reconciliation
• Cash management and payment runs
• Maintain internal procedures and external regulatory processes
• KPI reporting
• Manage queries within two working days of receipt
• Monthly bookkeeping
• Assessing and opening customers credit accounts

Skills and Requirements:

• 5 years' experience with AAT qualification or equivalent preferred in a similar role within an SME environment
• Professional demeanour and attitude, confident, outgoing and friendly
• Organised, focused, self-motivated
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to seek out opportunities to improve products, processes and services
• Ability to meet deadlines
